The Espresso Coffee Machine makes espresso, cappuccino and latte coffee beverages. To start, fill the Water Tank with water up to the MAX mark and fit the Water Tank into position. After Pre-heating, add ground coffee into the filter cup, tamp the ground coffee firmly and place the filter cup into the Portafilter. Lock the Portafilter into the Group Head and rotate the Portafilter Handle anti-clockwise. Press the Brew Button once for single shot, twice for double shot of espresso. Hot water is forced through under pressure, extracting flavours and aromas and hot coffee will flow out of the Portafilter into the cup. Once brewing is finished, you may remove the cup. Rotate the Portafilter Handle clockwise to remove it and discard the spent coffee beans. Repeat for more cups of coffee.

With 20 bar high pressure pump with a working pressure of 7.5 bar, the PowerPac Espresso Coffee Machine PPCM331 froths milk, which is essential in some coffee drinks. To do so, press the Steam Button. When the Steam Indicator Light stays lit, turn the Steam Knob to the open position. Release steam for 5 seconds, turn the Steam Knob to the OFF position and immerse the Steam Wand 2 cm into a milk jug half-filled with milk and turn the Steam Knob to the open position. When desired level of frothing is achieved, turn the Steam Knob to the OFF position.

The PowerPac Espresso Coffee Machine PPCM331 cleans and descales without requiring removal of components. Simply place a large container on the Drip Tray. Press and hold the Brew Button and Steam Button at the same time for at least 5 seconds and the appliance will descale and clean in under 4 minutes.

Do not worry if you fail to switch the appliance off. If no further buttons are pressed, the appliance enters Sleep Mode and then powers off automatically. Safety measures also include overheating and overpressure protection functions.
